A personal welcome
For groups of 10 people or more, the activities are carried out within the framework of a personalised reception for which we adapt to your desires and your programme.
The group rate can be applied during opening hours to individuals, for "tribes" (family groups, friends, etc.) of up to ten people.
A la carte activities
You can choose your activities from those we offer throughout the year:
- the guided tour of the tannery (1h)
- the bracelet workshop (1h)
- the simple purse workshop (1h)
- the key ring workshop (45min)
- medieval bourse workshop (2h)
All-inclusive two-site packages
Our partnerships allow us to offer you full or half days to discover several sites in the vicinity of the Tanners' city:
"Leather tannin, wine tannin
Visit the Domaine de Villemont, its vineyards, its cellars and taste its wines in the morning. Have lunch in a restaurant. Then visit the tannery and make a leather object in the afternoon.
"Between Leather and Glass
Visit the workshop of Floriane Tourrilhes, glass blower, then visit the tannery and make a leather object. Lunch is available before or during the activities.
Specialised structures, IME, ESAT, EHPAD, Camping, CSC, others...
Our activities are adapted (and adaptable) to all audiences. Contact us and a facilitator will explain what is possible depending on your
profile. We have welcomed, for example :
- a group of seniors via the association "Répit" for a sensory area and an adapted visit followed by a snack
- a group of hearing impaired children for an adapted visit followed by a workshop
- a group of deaf and dumb people for a sensory space
- The association Roulotte et Nature for a visit followed by a workshop
We can also come to your site with services such as the sensory area or workshops.
Motorhome owners
You will find a motorhome park in Lavausseau next to the church. This service area for motorhomes will allow you to stop and benefit from services such as: filling up with water, emptying black and grey water.

Groups of more than 50 people
We can accommodate groups of more than 50 people thanks to the volunteers who support the salaried team for both tours and workshops.
Leather tannin, wine tannin
Spend a day in the Haut-Poitou, between discovery and tasting
Morning: Domaine de Villemont
Meet at 10am at the Villemont estate.
Start your day of discovery with a private tour of the vineyards and cellar lasting approximately 1.5 hours. The visit is guided and will tell you the history of the estate, introduce you to its wines, its grape varieties, its winemaking methods...
This visit is followed by a commented tasting of 5 wines to choose from their whites, reds and rosés, special cuvées and traditional methods.
- Tariff 6.50 incl. VAT per person
- Option 2.50/person for a 5-piece toast with local products
- Duration 2 hours with shop
- Visit and tasting possible in English and German
Lunch
Traditional or local cuisine.
Several partners at 15 min depending on the size of the group, the style of catering, the time and budget required.

You will visit the tannery with a guide who will tell you about a thousand years of history and love of leather.
You can complete your visit with a key ring or a personalised leather bracelet.

Between leather and glass
Boivre-la-Vallée, land of passion
Floriane Tourrilhes, glassblower
Discover the magic of molten glass by visiting the workshop, in private, with Floriane.
Depending on the period, a demonstration of glass spun with a blowtorch or glass blowing with a cane will be offered. Beads, objects, molten glass will no longer hold any secrets for you.

- Duration: 1 hour with shop

Possibility to add a lunch break before, during or after the activities. Depending on your programme, the service can be provided for the whole afternoon or the whole day.
