How do I maintain my skin?
It is essential to take good care of your skin to keep it in good condition as long as possible. If in doubt: dry clean your skin!
- Brush and shake regularly for long hair. For short hair, use the hoover in the direction of the hair at minimum power.
- Dry cleaning with terre de Sommières (recommended).
- Wash stains by hand with products suitable for wool (Marseille soap) and rinse with clear water at 30°C max (avoid this whenever possible).
- Dry flat, away from the sun or any source of heat. Dry naturally.
- Finish by brushing if necessary (soft brush, boar brush depending on the type of hair).
Never use chemicals or other detergents. You can also find washable sheepskins in the shop!
Professional area
For leather professionals, leather workers, bookbinders etc... we still have the stock from the old tannery.
We mainly have cowhide but also parchment skins and goat, lamb and sheep skins. To have access to them or for any other request, it is necessary to make an appointment by calling 05 49 43 77 67 at least 24 hours before your arrival.
Without an appointment, we cannot guarantee access for professionals.
